Our culture is built upon 3 core values: Spiritual Maturity, People and a Healthy Community. We value a life process that builds our spiritual character in God and deepens our relationship with Him. We value people as individuals and each of their journey in God. Our faith journey is only strengthened and edified when we are in a company of Godfearing people. Therefore, buidling a healthy community is one of our core values. We believe it is essential to teach God’s community to anchor itself in the right values and principles in order to be a wholesome and radiant House that exists for His glory!
Our History

Radiant Church was birthed out from prayers of a small group of passionate people who were desperate to seek the heart of God. Through many days and nights of prayer and after receiving spiritual visions and prophetic words for the church, with a team of dedicated people, Ps Joshua and Jules Teo finally witnessed the birth of Radiant Church in October 2011! All glory to God!
It was a fulfillment of what God had spoken to us in our prayer from Isaiah 66:9, “the Lord is the one who makes birth possible.” Indeed, in every step of the way, it has been so evident that God is the master builder and architect of this church.
The very motive to plant this church was to see the church becoming the true bride of Christ where “authentic faith” is the norm, prayer becomes a lifestyle and evangelism, an outburst of everyone’s Spirit-filled life! It will be a place of hope, joy and love where everyone will radiate the glory of God to the world and champion the marketplaces for Christ!

It was inspired by Isaiah 61:1-3, our MISSION is to live out the “REDEEMED” life in Jesus Christ by:
RE-storing the brokenhearted and the oppressed (EVANGELISM, GOSPEL-SHARING) “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..” (v.1)
DE-voting our lives to proclaim the Kingdom causes (SERVICE, MISSION) “..to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor..” (v.2)
EM-powering people to fulfill their God-given destiny and calling (SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE) “…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” (v.3a)
ED-ucating people to enjoy and exemplify the love of Jesus Christ (DISCIPLESHIP, EQUIPPING, TRAINING) “They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour.” (v.3b)
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Moses and Siew Yong Lim
Senior Pastor Joshua and Jules Teo
As the Senior Pastor of Radiant Church, Joshua brings years of life experience in the corporate world working as an IT solution and sales consultant, a vision for a multicultural church that wins the marketplace and a pastoral and a missionary heart for the lost and marginalized. Joshua has completed his Bachelor of Theology at Melbourne College of Divinity (MCD) and has been ordained by Full Gospel Assembly. He is originally from Singapore and came to Australia to join Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 2000 and was in the mission field till he started his theological study. He served as a pastor in churches with ethnic diversity in Australia before pioneering Radiant Church. Josh is a real entrepreneur at heart and a creative artist who loves photography and multimedia designs. He and his wife, Jules have two lovely kids, Ellie and Isaac.
Jules is a school teacher in one of the leading private secondary schools. She completed her Bachelor of Theology at MCD, Master of Education, specializing in Student Wellbeing and Master of TESOL. She desires to educate and empower others to discover and cultivate their God-given talents. She is a cheerful and gentle woman of God who loves people and believes in the power of prayer and in the importance of teaching the Word of God. She is fluent in Korean and English and while she is very Aussie in many ways, she loves to eat kimchi and her Korean BBQ!
James and Amy Guo
James is a man of many talents. He serves as the Chairman of Radiant Church and also as a leader of Multimedia Ministry. He is fluent in Chinese and English, an excellent cook and a very dedicated father to two beautiful daughters, Tiffany and Isabelle and a loving husband to his gorgeous wife, Amy. James has served as a ministry leader for last 10 years and he is a loyal and diligent worker for Jesus. He is an environment health and safety advisor, a technology enthusiast, loves Chris Tomlin worship music and enjoys eating steak, seafood especially fresh water crabs!
